In 1915 the Cambridge (Mass.) Public School Association (CPSA) encouraged women to register and to vote in both the February primaries and December general election for school committee. Working with the Women's Campaign Committee, the CPSA endorsed a slate for the general election that included two women, Florence Lee Whitman (incumbent) and Mary H. Winslow.
